Estimates and decisions
Savings depend on inputs, weather, energy prices, equipment, installation and household behavior. Results are not quotes, guarantees, equipment sizing or promises of payback. Program availability, eligibility, tax treatment and deadlines change. Confirm current terms with the program administrator, utility and appropriate professional before buying equipment, signing a contract or claiming an incentive. Do not count the same incentive twice.
Safety comes first
Follow manufacturer instructions and applicable codes. Do not use a cartoon or general article as instructions for hazardous work. Electrical systems, combustion appliances, refrigerants and ventilation changes can require qualified professionals.
